There was this gem, from some time last fall - we do put them to sleep in their own beds, but who can say what happens after we leave. (Usually this type of thing can't happen - the beds are far too full of books to fit a sibling.)

Welcoming Marie
Marie MacKaye Buergel was born 2/24/2012 at 6:33 am. She measured up to 9 lbs 7 oz, 22 inches long, and a 14.5 in head circumference.
Marie was chosen for Marie Curie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Curie). We also appreciated the name because we both have a Mary in our family to honor. MacKaye is after Ian MacKaye (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_MacKaye). This one took us some time because there were many middles names we liked, but were unsure about adding them to Marie (Trillian and Frances were probably the runners up). We had both loved the idea of Ian if this had been a boy, and were pleasantly surprised by the sound of Marie MacKaye, so we decided to run with it. Couldn't have stronger role models, this one.
