Thanksgiving

We had a really nice Thanksgiving with a few friends. First we had a great dinner, for which Josh smoked a turkey.

Then we at some delicious dessert while playing games with our friends. The girl seemed to have a good day, and you can see how much she enjoyed helping her dad with a game here.

The dog was sitting underneath our gaming table at Thanksgiving, earnestly hoping for some of the pie that was on top of it. We see this looks a lot, actually.

Here the boy gets to meet his BFF to be, one day old Eric. Look what a difference two months makes! We've had a little baby boom around here - good for both social babies and social moms.

One thing about playing with slightly older boys is that you learn all about sword fighting and light sabers.

Madeleine was playing with her friend Matthew. We've been lucky to have a lot of play dates recently. Madeleine is a social creature, and she has a lot of nice friends.

Madeleine was Thor for Halloween. She and her friend Molly went out together. At first they didn't really know what was going on, but, then they realized there was candy in it. It was awesome.

(Josh and i also appreciated a nice evening with our friends Darcy&HP.)

onthego

The boy is two months old. Today we had William's two month appointment. Has it really been two months? Wow.

He weighed in at a mere 13 lbs, and 24.5 inches. (This is 95th percentile for height and weight - i'm really suprised he's not bigger, he seems so huge!) His head is the 75 percentile. This, incidentally, is about where he was at birth, and about where Madeleine was at two months of age. So, there you go.

Exam went by without a hitch - Madeleine showed off her stethoscope, Williams passed all of his tests with flying colors, and got his first round of shots. (No issues so far...)

William is starting to be a social fellow. He is sitting up much better - can actually sit against some pillows now and hold his head up. He smiles sometimes - when he is in a good mood he will sit and grin away for a while. He loves his mobile and will watch it for long periods of time. He seems to like his sister and his dog.

photobucket welcomes you

william
It has been an eventful two months. One detail is that Josh now works for Photobucket. So, i made myself a Photobucket account. I have been using Flickr to upload and post photos, but, i figures its ok to try Photobucket, right? Except you may have to bear with me for a while, because the details are different, and right now i can only create posts like this one. Slightly worse than what i used to be able to create, right? I'm sure it will come with time.

But, an advantage to getting Photobucket to work is that i can use Josh's mobile uploader application to more easily transfer pictures from my phone to this here blog. You care because i take more pictures with my phone these days than i do with my camera.

(Are you interested in such spiffyness? Let me know. I haven't really put in any time to figure out how to use these applications, but, i think they have promise for making our phone camera/uploading/picture handling/posting needs much easier. And, you get to increase the value to Josh's company. Yay!)

In the mean time, i have pictures, i have stories, and one day, i may have the time to share them here. Working on it, i promise.
